The macuahuitl is a large Mesoamerican warclub used in battle as well as ceremonies. It's a long wooden warclub embedded with knapped obsidian blade which give it a menacing appearance. My brother from Xibalba Arts hand carves and Knapps these blades into beautiful works of fine art. He uses relief carved designs from his pre-Columbian heritage to enhance the vibe.
