Residents of the century-old Hotel Yorba on Detroit’s Lafayette Blvd were given until today to collect their belongings and leave. The city labeled the building “dangerous and unsanitary,” citing issues like collapsing ceilings, leaky roofs, faulty fire systems, and pest infestations.
