Vectorman is a 2D action platformer video game developed by BlueSky Software and published by Sega. The game was released for the Sega Genesis in late 1995 in North America and Europe.

Vectorman is a challenging run and gun platformer video game developed for the SEGA genesis console. It was the year 2049 when the human race left the Earth on a migratory voyage. Mankind has left intelligent machines known as orbots to clean the planet’s mess while mankind is away.

Vectorman (Japanese: ベクターマン Bekutaman) is the main protagonist of his series, sharing the same name. He is an Orbot who has defeated two antagonists. He was an ordinary Orbot, cleaning Earth after it became polluted in 2049.

Enter Vectorman, a humble Orbot in charge of cleaning up toxic sludge by discharging it into the sun, and since he was off-planet at the time of Warhead's takeover, he was not affected by his brainwashing. As he lands on Earth after his last trip, he finds chaos and confusion.

Vectorman possesses the ability to transform, through the use of powerups, into several different forms - including a drill, to cut through floors; a bomb, to destroy all surrounding enemies; and an aquatic form, useful for swimming underwater. The game consists of 16 levels.

1995年10月24日 · VectorMan is a side-scrolling shooter with multidirectional aiming. Before the time runs out, the player must traverse a level from left to right and find the exit, possibly guarded by a boss, but not necessarily.

The game boasts some stunning rendered visuals, which give it a look all its own and were really advanced for its time.
