Bakuryu (バクリュウ), real name Kenji Ogami, is a fictional character from the Bloody Roar series. His beast form is the mole. He is currently a negotiator for the World of Co-Existence and is the adopted brother of Yugo. He made his first official appearance in the second game, Bloody Roar 2. Over the Painful Memories.

He appears as a secret character, unlockable in all games since Bloody Roar 3. The predecessor was the assassin named Bakuryu. His real name was Ryuzo.

Bakuryu is the name two characters in the bloody roar series. An experiment created by Tyron, Kato Ryuzo, a Zoanthrope ninja known as "Bakuryu the Mole", finds Kenji Ogami the "Earth God" in a village and raises him to be a skilled ninja. He succeeds in teaching Kenji all the techniques that he knows and gives him his own title of "Bakuryu."

With a moveset and gameplan similar to Bakuryu 's, Kohryu is primarily a hit-and-run character. However, he places greater emphasis on a defensive game thanks to his Inferno projectile, Mesmerism air freeze, and a better Guard Attack (which, uniquely, protects him from throws).

Bloody Roar (ブラッディロア, Buraddi Roa) is a series of fighting games created by Hudson Soft and developed together with Eighting.The series has been published by multiple companies including Activision, Konami, SCEA, and Virgin Interactive.Konami holds the rights to the franchise after Hudson Soft was absorbed into the former company in 2012.

It is unknown whether it is a coincidence that both Zoanthropes happened to be able to transform into moles, or whether Kato somehow "taught" Kenji how to change into a mole. The apprentice of the original Bakuryu the Mole, Kenji Ogami takes his master's place in all the Bloody Roar games from the second on.

Kenji Ogami / Bakuryu the Mole is one of the playable characters in the Bloody Roar fighting game series by Hudsonsoft and Eighting. Kenji was introduced as the second Bakuryu the Mole character in Bloody Roar 2 (1999) who replaced the first Bakuryu who was an old assassin in the first Bloody Roar.
