2025年1月3日 · Heya! I was wondering what the best / optimal pixel size for a game icon is. The recommended 512×512 pixels kinda didn’t work for me. My icon was watered down in quality and didn’t look the same as it did in my image editing software. If I compare my icon to other games, I can see that theirs actually looks high quality and not bad lol. Thanks

2020年7月7日 · CC: Maximum size is 512x512 for icons and 1920x1080 for thumbnails. Anything larger will be compressed, and anything smaller will be more blurry. This way the thumbnail and icon looks nice over every platform. Extra tips is to see if your thumbnails and icons still look good at different resolutions.

2019年5月18日 · It might show up that size on your computer, but it’s nice to have it upscale well in case Roblox ever decides to (or when you want to show the icon in game, at a higher resolution). (Unless Roblox automatically compresses the image to 150x150, like they do on regular decals with 1024x1024.

2021年12月23日 · There are 2 likely scenarios for why for icon won’t work. The first one is your icon is super high resolution, too high, maybe it’s has a resolution around 2,000 x 2,000 pixels. You should check that, it needs to be no bigger than 500 x 500 pixels.

2020年8月16日 · Any size would do tbh, depending on how good you want your icon to be. I would usually just ramp it up to minimum 700x700 (although i went 1000x1000 on average) with minimum 350 dpi. But like @20amir02 said, 1:1 ratio is highly encouraged
