2021年6月20日 · Nintendo doesn't want the Switch used for anything besides Switch games and their apps they decide are reasonable. They don't want anyone to go "hey my switch broke" then have to explain that using it to steam a pc game to it for 1000 hours effectively using it for something Nintendo didn't build it for.

Nintendo will need to allow it and Valve will need to be willing to develop a separate new Switch version of the Link software. They currently have a Linux version that runs on the Link device and the Raspberry Pi, and they have an Android version that runs on well Android, and Samsung TVs (which runs Tizen and supports Android apps).

While Steam Link wouldn't bypass the anti-piracy features, it does allow streaming content from unrestricted systems.

Network bans occur due to the console's logs showing that homebrew or pirated games have run/been installed (there are other reasons but those reasons come about because of those two things).

I don't know if they'll be able to link their progress to the steam version though, since it is impossible to transfer your PC data to the PS4 and also from the PS4 to PC and same goes for switch. So I am not sure..
