Trying to decide which one to get crf300l or crf450l
Posted April 29, 2022 (edited) 450L is much more of a bike than 300L. It's nothing like the KTM 350 vs the 500. 450L is lighter, more powerful, better suspended than 300L. If you can afford either, there is absolutely no reason to choose 300L. Edited April 29, 2022 by nots0much. 1.

I have Wilbers upgrades front (totally reworked fork, polished, racing seal, vale’s, spring oil) end rear (type 642 competition), all installed by Wilbers. Totally different ride experience on- and off-road.
Is there a consensus on the best suspension upgrade kit?
2022年1月20日 · Really it all depends on what you do with your bike, and how you ride it. End of the day, the CRF is not an MX / Enduro / Race bike. It's a dual-sport, and is priced as such. If modified it can be surprisingly capable at dealing with pretty much anything, but it'll never be as quick / light / nimble as a dedicated race type bike.

2022年5月23日 · DP55. You can trim your own seat foam. Not too difficult and free. If that doesnt work a lowering link is the next cheapest option. In the rear suspension: drilling a 10 mm hole 22 mm higher (center to center with the existing one). Raising the frontforks 12 mm in the clamps.

2013年12月31日 · Krhonn. To answer your question, a crf is made as a race machine. Honda only makes the 50cc as a crf now which it's basically the same as the older xr 50. Your xr is a trail and play bike which is less tame and snappy. Both honda crf and xr are 4 strokes. As far as the Yamaha goes the ttr is the same as the honda xr.

The screw on the side is the idle "speed" screw. This screw will increase or decrease you idle speed. if you turn the idle speed screw "in" the idle speed will increase.

Those are great pavement bikes that never need maintenance. The 450 needs about 4 times as much maintenance as the 250 or any of the 650 dualsport or adventure bikes.
