As for chromatic aberration specifically? Most rendering effects in games and movies are done with the goal of making it look like you're looking at a scene through the lens of a camera. Since chromatic aberration is something you see in a lot of photographs and movies, there's been a bit of an effort to duplicate the effect using post-processing.

2023年10月11日 · Looks like this is what happened in my scenario. Fresh out of the box, all dialogs and text had a very clear, one pixel chromatic aberration. Blue on top, yellow on the bottom. After it updated, that went away completely. So to the OP: after the latest update, I would say very little noticeable chromatic aberration indeed.

2022年9月8日 · It's definitely better, but the surprising thing is, there is still some chromatic aberration in my peripheral vision. I'm not sure if it's because my new lenses are bigger (54mm frame, I think my old frame might have been 52mm), or if my new lenses are more rounded, or what specifically causes it.

2019年8月21日 · It's part of what made the current VR revolution possible. The cheap, single elements lenses they use create barrel distortion and chromatic aberration. They use a shader to apply a counter distortion/aberration. So they're creating a chromatic aberration that's exactly the reverse of the aberration created by the lenses, so the two cancel out.

2023年4月28日 · I think chromatic aberration is for people with difficulties perceiving colours in the image like poeple with colour blindness etc. so it's really stupid that its turned on by default. I thought there was something wrong with my vision until I realised it was even a setting.

PC with the Asus 42UQ oled has same shit- weird coloring, especially trees/buildings, sometimes super blurry- chromatic aberration is a serious issue. I am running a 4090 w/ i9 13900k. What a mess.
