2017年4月1日 · Here are some pictures of a concrete tank that one of my LFS houses three black tip reef sharks and a giant grouper in. If I had to guess, I would say it's near 20-24 feet long by 10-12 feet wide. They said it measures out to 17,000 gallons. All of this in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lol.

2009年3月25日 · The problem would be keeping a juvenile Blacktip with a much larger juvenile/subadult Nurse. But keeping an adult nurse with an adult blacktip reef is a diiferent story. A fully grown(5-6') Blacktip Reef would be too large to be seen as possible prey, by the adult (8'+)Nurse. But instead would likely be seen more as a possible rival for food.

They're pretty well-adapted to captivity, and do well provided they are given enough space. Blacktip sharks, on the other hand, get in the 6 to 7 foot range, and rarely survive in captivity.

Right now I'm working on displaying sharks in two areas (250,000 gallon and a 600,000 gallon). We just wrapped up getting the quarantine area set up, and should be collecting next week.
