2022年9月3日 · Now using the steam deck controls in those gamepass games. Thats a bit more tricky. I've been able to add a number of games to steam itself as non-steam games, using GlosSI. But that doesn't work for all games. A good example would be Forza Horizon 5. In that case I use steam-deck-windows-usermode-driver. But even that has its issues.

2022年12月20日 · If you want to stream an actual xbox to the steam deck you want greenlight which will let you do that (and works really well with series s/x). If you want to only play gamepass pc games then yes you will have to either install windows or dual boot. Then you will also need GlosSI for controller input which works ok with a bit of tweaking.

2024年1月7日 · Game Pass uses Microsoft Store for delivery, and Microsoft Store is a core component of Windows, not available as a separate download. As such, it's impossible to make it work in Linux, without Microsoft changing things on their end dramatically .

EA games can be downloaded from the EA app and run via Proton. I also dual boot Windows 11 for Game Pass, Xbox Play Anywhere (PSA that Forza Horizon 3 is delisted, but if you bought it is in this category!), and Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions (along with a handful of other games, Steam or otherwise, that refuse to work in Steam OS).

2022年3月19日 · The other advantage of Steam Deck over some people's mobile set-ups is you already have an integrated controller. Whereas a BlueTooth controller for a phone or tablet will have more input latency. I personally have a Razer Kishi for my phone, so it's "wired," which has a noticeable advantage compared to when I used an Xbox controller via Bluetooth.

At the moment, the only options to play game pass on Steam Deck is either cloud streaming, or installing Windows. The game pass pc app doesn't work on Linux right now, sadly. Since you want to play offline, I'm guessing cloud gaming isn't a good option for your needs. Maybe look into installing windows on it.

2022年8月20日 · Game pass trough windows store: 100% money go to MS (that of course has to pay the games that are in). Game pass through Steam: xx% money go to MS and %Money go to Valve. Is it worth for MS to leave to Valve a part of its money to give it's user the possibility to have Gamepass trough Steam? Maybe, maybe not.
