Doom 2016 has a more futuristic industrial looks somewhat reminiscent of Aliens to it while Doom Eternal goes for a more of a medieval fantasy look. Doom 2016 art style felt like a combination of Classic Doom and Doom 3 while Doom Eternal felt more retro with its design taking cues from Doom 1, 2, 64 and a bit of Wolfenstein and Quake.

Anyone found Doom boring? what I am missing? Well I was super hyped to finally be able to play Doom 2016... but for some reason so far I am feeling pretty bored about it. I know that it is supposed to be more similar to the first 2 games. But for some reason it doesn't feel like it. It just feels like another generic FPS with some edgy elements.

Doom 2016 was so much more graphically appealing, it was gory, it was detailed, it was smooth. Doom eternal, I haven't played it much but it looks more like a zombie game than a demon slaying hell-on-earth game.
