The first week of NFL free agency is coming to a close, with every team addressing needs and bolstering its roster ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.  And these past few days had it all. You had the Steelers trading for (and paying) DK Metcalf despite not yet having a starting quarterback.

Here is our updated seven-round mock draft after the first wave of free agency and the big trade. It would be a huge stroke of luck if Grant falls to the Steelers in the first round after the team failed to address the defensive line in free agency and released Larry Ogunjobi.

The NFL Draft is getting closer, with it being in just over a month in late April. Free agency is nearing its conclusion, making team needs for the NFL draft a bit more clear. That makes now as great a time as ever to make a mock draft.
