Emma Raducanu reeled off nine straight games in a facile 6-2, 6-1 victory over an unknown Japanese 19-year-old at the Miami Open on Wednesday, but the real story was her split with coach Vladimir Platenik.

The Slovak has worked with a number of WTA players, including Lulu Sun, who beat Raducanu on her way to the quarter-finals of Wimbledon last year.
