The pink locker room in Kinnick was his doing. Fry earned a Master's degree in psychology as a student at Baylor University, and legend has it he read that pink can have a calming effect on a person.

Several professors and students joined the call Tuesday for the Iowa athletic department to do away with the pink showers, carpeting and lockers in the visitors' locker room.
