Two new pedestrian bridges opened at Pearl this week, marking the latest step in a larger expansion plan that aims to double the Pearl’s footprint.

Construction crews were moving dirt, along the Iowa side of the Big Sioux River, Thursday, in preparation to rebuild a railroad bridge connecting North Sioux City and Sioux City.
