Google's got a fix for everyone who factory reset their old Chromecast in an attempt to resolve its recent service disruption.

It took several days, but it looks like Google has figured out how to resolve a recent issue that borked older Chromecast (version 2) and Chromecast Audio streaming dongles, which was preventing them from functioning.

Google has acknowledged an issue with older Chromecast devices. If you're experiencing a problem, it recommends you not perform a factory reset while the fix is implemented.
