Police noticed the woman’s Chevrolet Impala parked alongside a gas pump at Shell, 5918 Smith Road. They checked the license plate number and learned that the car’s owner, who was the Cleveland woman, was wanted for a felony offense in Brook Park.

Kyle Hill was intoxicated when he ran a couple’s car off the road, causing a fatal crash all while thinking his ex-girlfriend was inside, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department. Hill, 33, got in an argument with his ex-girlfriend on March 9, and she took off in a friend’s car, police said in a news release.

One of the victims, driving a car identical in make and model to Hill’s ex’s but in a different color, was reportedly on a call with her 9-year-old daughter and father during the chase, informing them that Hill intended to kill both her and her boyfriend.
