Lucknow: To boost local economy in towns, the state govt has decided to increase its spending to upgrade the scale and size of the fairs and festivals being organised by the community.

WRAL News is working to learn if more passport fairs will be held to alleviate the lines and backlog at local DMV offices.

So far this year, at least 25 state fairs have been canceled or indefinitely postponed across the country.
