Helldivers 2 fans will be able to play the game in a different way shortly, as the franchise is getting a board game from Steamforged

Steamforged Games has announced Helldivers 2: The Board Game. The tabletop studio known for creating complex bespoke tabletop games like Runescape Kingdoms and Sea of Thieves will bring Arrowhead Game Studios' satirical sci-fi shooter to gaming tables.

The supremely Warhammer 40K-coded sci-fi shooter, Helldivers 2, is about to hit tabletops around the world thanks to Steamforged Games – the very same board game studio that brought us the Monster Hunter World board game series.

The designers here are Nicholas Yu ( Dungeons & Dragons: Onslaught) and Derek Funkhouser ( The Walking Dead: Something to Fear ). We don’t have a lot of information, unfortunately, outside this brief description from Thursday’s news release:
