Amazon has expanded the availability of free local news coverage on its Fire TV platform to 158 cities across the US.

Amazon Fire TV says local TV stations in 12 U.S. cities will be added to Amazon’s news app, with another 90 on deck for 2021.

However, that hasn’t included access to local channels that you receive over-the-air. But that may be changing, according to an Amazon listing which touts a new hardware device called AirTV.
