After your area’s last frost date, plant seeds 12-16” apart, about ¼” deep (a little deeper if needed to keep seeds moist).
Plant kale seeds ½ inch deep and 1 inch apart, thinning to the most robust seedlings to 18 inches apart. Plant transplants 18 inches apart in rows 24 to 36 inches apart.
Growing kale from seed, not that exciting. Lower leaves died off in the end, could be multiple reasons for that. At least this one is done and i can move on to more interesting plants :D ...
If you plant kale late in the summer you can harvest it from fall until the ground freezes in winter. Plant the seeds 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep into well-drained, light soil.
