A series of bomb threats targeting Walmart led to a number of stores being evacuated across the country on Sunday. The incidents sparked a huge police response, with bomb-detection dogs being deployed to search certain stores.

Two Walmart locations in Sacramento County were evacuated following reports of a bomb threat, law enforcement agencies confirm.

According to the Windsor Heights Police Department, officers and the Windsor Heights Fire Department responded to the Walmart shortly after 5:30 p.m. Sunday after a store associate received a bomb threat via phone call. As a precaution, the store was evacuated.
