US Vice President JD Vance stated that an agreement allowing TikTok to continue operating in the US is almost certainly going to be reached. According to him, this will happen by April 5, the deadline for the sale,

US Vice President JD Vance stated on Friday that a “high-level” deal for TikTok is expected before the April 5 deadline, ensuring national security concerns are addressed while allowing an American version of the app.

There will almost certainly be a high-level agreement that I think satisfies our national security concerns, allows there to be a distinct American TikTok enterprise,” he told NBC News during an interview aboard Air Force Two.
